Federal regulations state that students with disabilities, who are unable to take or read notes, have the right to record class lectures for personal study purposes. The use of a recording device is to supplement the student’s note-taking ability. Recordings will not be shared privately or publicly and will be destroyed by the student with accommodations at the end of each semester. By attending Adler University, you’re consenting to possibly be recorded by students with disabilities who have an audio recording accommodation. Questions concerning this notice can be directed to c[email protected].
Students at the Vancouver Campus are not permitted to automatically record course lectures without the consent of their course instructor. Students who require recordings as an academic accommodation should contact the director for Student Services for further assistance.
