This elective is designed to provide support and group consultation on sex therapy cases. Students will be allowed to bring de-identified cases from practicum or practice to consult in a peer, group setting on topics like assessment, intervention, self-of-the-therapist, etc. The course WILL NOT count for AASECT supervision hours. Students can explore basic sex therapy skills, models, approaches, diagnoses, etc. guided by a Certified Sex Therapist and AASECT supervisor in training. This is considered supplemental to practicum, and does not count in place of practicum seminar.
