CFTD 802 - Hooks & Hardy 2 This course is designed to explore the scholarly works of bell hooks and Ken Hardy. Multiple writings of bell hooks and Ken Hardy provide frameworks to increase critical thinking in examining complex layers of cultural forces that impact lived experience and propose paradigms for impacting systemic change. Students will participate in critical reflection and sustained dialogue about hooks and Hardy’s concepts as well as engage in assignments that apply concepts to their own work. In addition, students will explore how the works of hooks and Hardy can increase the capacity to advance Adler University’s mission of social justice and social responsibility.
