MAIOP 546 - Research Methods in Organizatiional Psychology

3
This course discusses the assumptions and methods of a range of research designs used in Organizational Psychology research. A critical assessment is provided of the strengths and weaknesses of different research methods and their application to the study of individual, group and organizational behavior. Students are expected to generate a statement of a research problem of interest, and then propose how this problem could be investigated through two different methodologies: one qualitative and one quantitative. Preparation of a research question and exploring options to answer this through research is intended to assist students in their eventual completion of the Master’s Thesis Project.
