The main goal of this class is to develop an understanding of what it means to be in a toxic relationship and help clients prevent them by spotting the “red flags”. The students will learn about various forms of abuse in relationships by understanding the nature of Narcissistic Personality disorder and the symptoms of healthy and unhealthy relationships. Tools, models, and techniques to set boundaries and heal after surviving an abusive relationship will be discussed and examined.
