Graduate Preparatory Program The Graduate Preparatory Program, comprised of 3 courses, focuses on a unique blend of academic and business English, ensuring students are able to study, and complete assignments and examinations with confidence in the fields of public policy/administration and industrial organizational psychology. Specific academic skills, such as essay writing, research methods, note taking, critical thinking and seminar or tutorial discussion, will provide a strong foundation for our students. Material in the course will cover current affairs and/or incorporate relevant public policy issues as well as key topics in industrial organizational psychology to bridge academic training with practical knowledge. GPP-520 - Fundamental Presentation Skills (0 credit)This seminar will develop students’ oral and written presentation ability through practical classroom experience. Coursework emphasizes student participation both in making presentations and critique of other students’ work. At the end of the seminar, students will develop ability to present public policy and organizational psychology information effectively in both oral and written forms, and confidently participate in academic and professional presentation environments.
