MACF 995 - MACF Master’s Clinical Qualifying Examination 0 The Qualifying Examination consists of the presentation of a clinical case including an audiotape, an analysis of key interchanges within the session presented, a written case conceptualization and treatment plan, a paper integrating research with the clinical case, and a paper examining social issues pertinent to the clinical case. Students will meet with two faculty examiners to review the material pertinent to the case. The oral presentation will take between one to one-and-a-half hours. Students’ performance on both the written and oral portions is incorporated into the faculty evaluation. Students who fail to pass on the second attempt are subject to dismissal from the School. Students are required to register for this course via Self-Service prior to taking the exam.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite: Completion or near completion of all M.A. requirements.
