PSY 833 - Social Psychology 3 This course provides an overview of the social-psychological cognition, perception, and behavior of individuals and groups. The theories and empirical research into areas such as the social construction of self, interpersonal and intrapersonal attitude development and cognition, group dynamics, social learning, conformity, prejudice, altruism, aggression, obedience/compliance, and stereotypes are covered. The clinical relevance and application of the available research will be stressed throughout.
