PSY 870 - International and Cross-Cultural Studies

This course will provide doctoral students with a cultural-immersion experience outside of the United States. Students will be engaged in a nonclinical service-learning program for a limited period of time. The course will teach students to examine and critically think about the impact of systemic and structural barriers on health and well-being issues abroad. This will enhance students’ professional values and their preparation for multicultural clinical practice. This course has additional costs including travel, room and board, and spending money.

Prerequisites: PSY 642.
