COUN 752 - Advanced Adlerian Theory and Practice

This course provides students a forum to explore and apply Adlerian theoretical tenets and interventions in an advanced level. The class framework is on the role of the counselor in relation to the client throughout the four stages of Adlerian therapy. Emphasis is on the Counselor/Client relationship, Life-Style case conceptualization, use of Social Interest, Encouragement, Fictional Final goals and Treatment planning. Students will apply advanced tenets and interventions to clients across the life span using various modalities; individual, couple, family, and group. This is an Online class with Synchronous sessions.
