CSAC 703 - Substance Abuse Counseling Practicum and Seminar Continuation

Students are required to register for this course should they not be able to meet the 500-hours requirement with a minimum of 250 direct service hours in a supervised MISA/AODA approved site during CSAC - 702. This seminar will continue to provide students with support, faculty supervision, and peer consultation opportunities. At the conclusion of the internship, students should be able to demonstrate competencies enabling them to be clinically, culturally, ethically, and socially responsible entry-level practitioners. There is a fee associated with this course. Students will need approval from the Director of Training or the Program Director to register for this course.
